Methods and material:this cross-sectional study was conducted upon neonates that admitted ,data information was(sex ,age,weight,delivery type,drug history in mother, Cause of seizure)that collected from files. Resultes:42newborn(24girls,18boys)evaluated.71.4%were trem,18.6%were pretrem 81/1%were vaginal delivery,in62.2% weight weremore than 2500gr,the patients mean age was6+_1day,the most common cause of seizurewas:asphexia28.6%,sepsis24.4% hypoglysemia13.1%,IVH 12%mengities9%,drug abuse in mother9%and3.9% etc. Conclusion:We recommended prenatal care,good condition for delivery time can decrease mortality and morbidty from seizure.
